Today we went on a magical butterfly hunt in the nursery garden! 🦋 The children had so much fun spotting beautiful butterflies hidden among the plants and flowers. But these weren’t just any butterflies — they were ones we made ourselves! Using bright paints and plenty of imagination, the children created their own colourful butterfly wings, which we laminated and hung around the garden. We counted how many we could find, matched colours, and talked about how real butterflies look and move. It was a fantastic way to combine creativity, nature, and early maths skills in the sunshine.

Lovely building today! The children worked together and built us a surprise masterpiece, all by themselves. Such creativity and teamwork. Well done, little builders! 👷♀️👷🏻♂️
