Babies
We are registered to care for your baby from birth. Our emphasis in caring for your baby will be of love, warmth and security in a stimulating environment. From day one we build strong relationships with our babies parents and carers. We are fully trained and knowledgeable and provide stimulating activities at the right level for the children. As we are family run we have no turnover of staff and this helps develop strong relationships and a special understanding between us, yourself and your baby. The contentment and happiness of your baby is paramount. At Compass House Nursery we provide bright comfortable surroundings for babies to play, rest and eat. Babies have every opportunity to roll, crawl, sit, climb, balance, reach and grasp, in our light and spacious room. All the activities are carefully considered so that they enhance the development of each individual child. Babies have a safe outside play area which they love, this area enhances their physical abilities as well as providing them with many more opportunities to experience the outside world.
Toddlers
This is the next step on your child’s journey and the emphasis in this area is fun, play and stimulation. The children have access to a wide variety of toys and activities to promote the development of many skills appropriate to their needs. The room is spacious and bright with a wide variety of activities for the children with a range of messy and creative activities. Toddlers can play outside in our large grassed area which provides the children with a safe place to run, jump, climb and explore in. We also have an undercover play area which provides all weather outside play, this play area includes many trikes and small cars as well as sand and water play. The children take great delight in the many musical activities on offer to them whether it be a physical dance activity or singing the many songs we share.
